brzmi jak straszliwa groźba... ja bym się bał.
Tak jest !
Like more than 300 skiers having tested and/or bought Rax skis last winter,
6 to 65 years old, boarders, adult beginners, experts, from London,
Boston, Innsbruck and Munich. One of them was really disappointed:
the Olympia Fourth in woman downhill 1976. Others reported as
follows
"I like my 188 Bluehouses/Burton Canyon/Head Teles's etc way too much. But, if the conditions suck these skis start to perform. A few of us got the Rax skis on and went into some steep and tight trees. Because it had rained and frozen over the past few nights there was a nasty ice crust probably about 3/4 of an inch thick. When you broke through it in the trees it sounded like breaking glass. If i were on my 188's I would have had a hard time..."
"... lower sections of pistes
were getting soft and destroyed – just the right conditions
for Rax skis. While other skiers could hardly turn in this slush
and were falling frequently, I raised my ski tips and draw nice curves
on rear fins..."
"I don't think anyone in northern VT was skiing woods on 3-21 except for the Rax crew. You had two alternative choices that day, do get drunk or stick to blue ice groomers! The Rax got the job done!"
"Getting my ski edges sharper, we mastered even very hard groomers.
Whether the carve turn, the classical (skidded) turn, the plough
or the “rax” turn on the fins, everything goes with Rax.
You are just limited by your own phantasy...."
"I wouldn't even say boilerplate....like skiing on a polished diamond (insert hardest material) surface. Groomers were a sh*t....
When there is an ice crust or the snow is sketch I will probably ride Rax in the woods."
